This is the worst airline ever!!!! I've been trying to get a refund from them since they cancelled my flights last April due to the pandemic, and they refused to provided a refund , not even a voucher, they just allow me to change the dates to travel but there's no certainty when we will be able to fly, there's a pandemic out there, only essential travel is allow in my country and I don't feel safe traveling, I have contacted them multiple times and they always give me the same answer, this is ILLEGAL!!! Why they keep money for a service they didn't provide. Please stay away from this company, I will never EVER travel with them.
Cancelled my flight in exchange for an open ticket then refused to honour the open ticket. Then don't reply to emails and on the phone they just lie to you.
A totally dishonest and thieving company.

One of the very limited benefits of this dramatic Covid crisis could be the total disappearance of this terrible airline. At least, that could not be a loss for anybody.
After the cancellation of my flight one year ago by Aeromexico due to Covid, I have still been expecting a refund or at least a proper alternative like an open ticket in a reasonable timeframe or usable vouchers.
And this is not because I have not tried to contact so many times their "customer service" (at least one word too many in this expression).
I have still had no occasion to travel with them but I can not say that I am expecting a high quality of service.
At Mexico International Airport, I was misdirected two times to the check-in counters when I was looking for the service desk.
Once at the correct location, the agent was unhelpful correcting a ticketing problem and no Supervisor was on duty. The matter became so problematic, that it became cheaper to return to the US then continue with my onward Journey.
I will never use the Mexico City International Airport as a Connecting Point and I will never fly on Aeromexico again.
They cancel the flight. Don't have a serious alternative flight.
Then pay you back the money in 12 (!) month. BUT...don't refund the extra seat options that we purchased.
A shame!
This company has no customer service. Literally! They have no email correspodence. They do not answer the online chat on their website. Their Facebook chat is a useless automatic algorithm. Phone? Nah. No English service. I have been waiting over 90 minutes, no reply. THE COMPANY HAS NO SERVICE!!!
On my flight from Mexico City to San Jose del Cabo AM384 02FEB2021
While entering the Airplane I greeted with a Spanish Hola Buenas
(Hey good morning), immediately I got a bad look from Mrs. Esb BLANCA
Purse on that flight.
I wanted to visit the toilet that was occupied, once the person using it came out.
It was the first officers, whom give me a smiling eye.
I shake my head because I was surprise to receive a Smile from
Aeromexico Staff.
Mrs. Esb BLANCA, Immediately said to me, yes she’s a woman?
No the first time I see a Female First Officer, very much used having Females Pilots, but yes FIRST TIME I GOT A SMILE
FROM AN AEROMEXICO STAFF.
While the flight was for more than 25 min airborne, I called in and had to wait
another 10 to 12 min before I got attended, I requested headphone since we had
had to suffer from their galley chatting during those long minutes.
(It seems to everyone that if AM provide TV and Movies on board) the minimum
requested is to have headphone already given away before airborne).
Once again my request was meet with a bad look from Mrs. Esb BLANCA.
What a Racist way to go.

Happy Ending! After waiting for 5 months for air Mexico to say no refund (even though it was them who cancelled) with the "help" of my London based travel agent.
I went to my credit card servers who refunded smoothly.
I am informed that they will deduct directly from air Mexico.
I urge you all to do the same and advise others to do the same.

I should’ve have listen to the reviews if you flight in first class they will kiss your ass those are the only good reviews but if you flight like me in business or economy they treat you like dirt

Aeromexico ARE SO EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!
NOT TO BE TRUSTED. Booked on Aeromexico because of the COVID Waiver to change flights. When booking, all fares had waiver. When wanting to change the flight, the policy "changed" and no longer applicable to basic fare. Much better experience with BA and KLM both of whom allowed me to change on the basic fare.
Part 1- Either you spend more or you lose your funds. Prior to booking my trip, i was advised I would be able to change my dates without any issue. Then, I cancelled my trip due to the pandemic. They would not issue a voucher for me to book another trip. They want me to give them the dates & the country I would like to travel to. No available dates with the specific airline agency online, or if any prices are 2 times or 3 times more than my original cost. Or If i am willing to purchase, by the time they return answer my phone call or return my email, there is no availability. Too many restrictions within the ticket. They are not willing to work with you at all despite the pandemic. They just want your money, once they get it you can say bye to it. This is my first experience, and it surely will be the last one.
Part 2
I have now booked another flight, paying a lot more and this even without luggage. My flight gets changed to next day, I request a refund and they are telling me it is going to take 12 months. As if it took 12 months for me to pay for my ticket. My flight gets changed for the 2ND TIME FIR THE NEXT DAY, without THEM NOTIFYING me. I only found out, as I went to the website trying to purchase checked luggage. So far my first & only experience with them has been regrettable. I will keep updating as I go.
